The website Gotham Hoops announced something very cool on Wednesday — it has organized an event, called the Gotham Hoops Invitational, which will be a senior showcase for local college basketball stars.

The inaugural Gotham Hoops Invitational will be held Sunday, April 13 at Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, NY. The event will serve as a showcase for the top Men’s College Basketball seniors in the Tri-State area.
Talent will play before NBA and international agents, coaches and scouts, providing an opportunity for these seniors to pursue a professional basketball career. An evening double-header is open to the public.
Committed players include Jason Brickman, LIU Brooklyn (Led NCAA in assists in 2012-13 and 2013-14; ranks 4th all-time with 1,009 career assists), Rhamel Brown, Manhattan College (Three-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Year), Branden Frazier, Fordham (Ranks top ten all-time in assists and points in program history), Brian Oliver, Seton Hall (Led Pirates in three-point field goals made and percentage; ranked third in Big East), J.J. Moore, Rutgers (Ranked top five among team leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks).
Rosters will be finalized on Friday, April 4. Represented conferences include the American, Atlantic 10, Big East, Colonial, Metro Atlantic and Northeast.
