Yesterday there was a report out that shed some light on the four St. Francis men’s basketball players that were suspended that we shared with you here on Brooklyn Eagle Sports. Today there was another published update via Zach Braziller and Larry Celona of the NY Post.

According to the Post, Anthony White thought his unidentified girlfriend was cheating on him. He allegedly texted her, “I’m going to fuck you up.” before he went to her room and allegedly chocked her, slapped her, and broke her laptop before she called her sister who called 911. He was charged with assault and menacing.

Wayne Martin was arrested on Feb. 11 for assaulting the same woman, but charges may have been dropped hence his post on Facebook, “All these allegations and rumor are not true. … I wouldn’t still be in school if they were true.”

Investigators are still looking to speak with P.J. Santavenere and Brent Jones, who supposedly sexually assaulted the same woman in the same incident.

St. Francis still has no comment on the situation. All four players have been suspended from the men’s basketball team indefinitely.
