Not much change in the rankings as the PSAL winds down its regular season. Big shifts can happen in the playoffs though so get ready.

  1. Lincoln (15-0, LW: 1): Lincoln picked up a nice win over South Shore and then Robeson refused to play them on Saturday and took a forfeit. The Railsplitters have one more game before the playoffs against Jefferson on Thursday.
  2. Loughlin (17-4, LW: 2): A huge week for the Lions as they picked up three wins including a big one over Christ the King. Mike Williams was out on Tuesday after he got stitches, but he’s expected back Friday against Xaverian.
  3. Jefferson (11-3, LW: 3): The Orange Wave beat up on Transit Tech early in the week and then picked up a tough win against Brooklyn Collegiate over the weekend. They’ve been up and down, but have cemented their No. 3 spot in Brooklyn.
  4. South Shore (9-5, LW: 4): A tough loss to Lincoln and a big win over Grady. South Shore has one last shot to move up in these rankings on Saturday against Jefferson.
  5. Brooklyn Collegiate (9-5, LW: 5): Collegiate beat Robeson to start the week, but faltered to Jefferson on Saturday so they won’t be moving up this week. The Lions need to beat Westinghouse this week or drop down in the rankings.
  6. Westinghouse (8-6, LW: 6): Only one game last week and it was a nice win over Grady, but unfortunately that isn’t enough to move up this week.
  7. Xaverian (9-11, LW: 7): Things have been tough for Xaverian as they have now lost seven of their last 10 games. They lost to both Molloy and Holy Cross last week and only salvaged things a bit with a win over Wadleigh.
  8. Nazareth (14-4, LW: 9): A nice week for Nazareth as it picked up two more wins against Scanlan and McClancy last week. The Kingsmen haven’t lost since Jan. 9 against Bishop Ford.
  9. Boys and Girls (6-7, LW: 8): Off for regents.
  10. Poly Prep (13-4, LW: NA): The Blue Devils have a young but talented team. They overcame a big test last week when they beat Riverdale in a rematch of last season’s finals. They face an even bigger challenge this weekend against Collegiate.
