SEASON SWEEP: The Nets swept the Magic in the four-game season series last year by an average score of 19.8 points per game. The last time Magic won was back on March 16, 2012.

THE BIG TICKET: Kevin Garnett will move past Wilt Chamberlain into fifth place on the NBA’s all-time minutes played list if he plays at least seven minutes against the Magic. He currently has played 47,853 minutes so far and would need to play 50,000 minutes to catch Elvin Hayes for fourth all-time.

SO WE MEET AGAIN: Coach Kidd and Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn were teammates together with the New Jersey Nets from 2004-06. The team made the playoffs both years, but were knocked out by the Heat both times.

GRABBING THE GLASS: The Nets struggled to rebound against the Cavaliers as they were beaten 48-37 on the glass, but they fixed that against the Heat and outrebounded them 40-30.

BROOK LEADING THE TEAM: Brook Lopez has scored at least 10 points in 26 straight games. Joe Johnson is next on the team with at least 10 points in his last 10 games.
