Back in September, we found out that the Brooklyn Nets would play in at least one game with the player’s nicknames on the back of their jerseys rather than their actual names. It turns out that the Nets recently announced the dates for the event on calenders that they have been handing out during the first few games of the years (hat tip to NetsDaily.com).

The first day the Nets will wear the “name jersey collection” jerseys will be at home against the Miami Heat on Jan. 10, 2014. They will also wear them twice on the road against Miami on March 12 and April 8. The Nets will also be wearing short sleeved jerseys on Christmas and “alternative home uniforms” on March 21, 28 and April 4, 11 and 15.

Nothing has been announced, but Paul Pierce will likely wear “The Truth” on the back, Kevin Garnett “The Big Ticket” and Brook Lopez said that he requested “Brooklyn” so that he could have it written on both the front and back of his jersey.
