Lincoln guard, five-star recruit Isaiah Whitehead made an unofficial visit to Seton Hall over the weekend and came away impressed, according to Adam Zagoria of SNY.tv.
“[I] liked everything about it,” Whitehead told SNY.tv. “It’s a great school. I don’t see why people don’t go there.”
Whitehead told SNY.tv that Seton Hall head coach Kevin Willard promised that he would be the face of the program if he went there. The school has already gotten commitments from Angel Delgado, Ismael Sanogo, and Brooklyn guard Khadeen Carrington. Quadri Moore is expected to announce his commitment there any day now.
Whitehead has not planned any official visits yet, but is making the rounds going on an unofficial visit to Indiana two weeks ago. He also has a visit to St. John’s planned for this Wednesday. He told the Eagle that he expects to make his commitment in November.
Kind of get the feeling that Whitehead likes all of the attention he gets from this sort of thing? He sure does. Last week he tweeted a quote, “Isaiah Whitehead is the biggest question mark in the country right now. Who does he like? No one knows.” with the response, “Just the way I want it. Lol.”
