Jay Z was a minority owner in both the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center, owning less than one percent of each, but has now officially severed ties with the club and the arena and is a NBA agent, according to Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal.

Jaz Z, also known as Shawn Carter, had to completely divest himself from the team and the arena to avoid potential conflicts of interest. Even though he is only recently an agent, he already represents Kevin Durant and will likely pick up a few more clients in the near future.
