The Brooklyn Nets have announced that they will hold a press conference to welcome the newly acquired Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Jason Terry and Andrei Kirilenko at the Barclays Center on Thursday at noon and they want their fans to join them.

They are encouraging everyone to show up at the Daily News Plaza just outside the main entrance and watch the press conference on the oculus. If you can’t make it, you can still catch the presser live on the YES Network or streaming on brooklynnets.com.

The entire thing should last a little more than an hour with general manager Billy King and new head coach Jason Kidd on hand. Ian Eagle, Jim Spanarkel and Sarah Kustok are expected to handle the broadcast. This is the first time the Nets have asked fans to join them at the oculus and it’s expected to be the team’s most heavily attended offseason event in history.

Brooklyn Eagle Sports will be in attendance so be sure to check back here for updates and photos afterward. You can follow me @RobAbruzzese on Twitter for live updates during the event.
