Just about a year ago nobody in the NBA wanted Andray Blatche. Sure he had potential, but he was lazy and immature. Nobody trusted him. The Brooklyn Nets, desperate, gave him a chance though and he rewarded them with a career high in points per minute and strong play on the defensive end as well.
His game had matured. He still has not.
On Friday, Blatche posted to his Instagram account a photo of six E-ZPass violations and the caption, “Lol I get these n my mail every day lol.”
Apparently Blatche, who has earned roughly $29,879,562 in his eight year NBA career per Basketball Reference, has decided that he doesn’t need to stop and pay tolls anymore. I guess he can afford it, but it seems silly considering one less-than-five-minute phone call could avoid all those fines.
So while Blatche has matured on the court, he certainly hasn’t matured off it. This means that we might expect him to continue trolling the Washington Wizards next season.
